Teachers

“Our own lives are the instruments with which we experiment with truth.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

On the journey of self realization, what is the value and purpose of a teacher?

Gautama Buddha

Gautama Buddha (“enlightened one”) realized his true nature after exploring many different “teachings” – his life serves as the basis of Buddhism.

Ramana Maharshi

Ramana, the preeminent Indian sage realized his true nature with a spontaneous awakening at 16. He “taught” the most direct path to self realization: self inquiry – “Who Am I?”
